A successful 4th grade Ag Day

Posted

Gonzales County Farm Bureau wants to recognize the gracious contributions from our fellow community partners that helped make the annual Ag In the Classroom event a success, through their donations or their participation at the event, with the most heartfelt appreciation and gratitude.
Nixon-Smiley and Gonzales 4th grade teachers and bus drivers, Gonzales High School FFA students, GVEC, Gonzales Livestock Market, Tina Caldwell, Tyler Behlen, Southwest Dairy Farmers, TxDOT, Gonzales County Soil and Water Conservation, Texas Department of Public Safety, HEB, Mike Brzozowski, Walmart, Wayne Koch, Samantha Cascella, Lilly Placios, Lance Williams, Perry Winegeart and Deidra D. Voigt.
We missed our Waelder 4th graders this year and hope to see them in 2019.
The 4th graders arrived at J B Wells Park Arena and learned about all about a day in agriculture, various animals, growing food, how Earth cleans our water, personal safety and even tried their hand to lasso a calf. Everyone had a wonderful time and we look forward to next year.
