Adan Juarez

Adan Juarez, 53, of Gonzales, passed away Sunday, May 14. He was born June 23, 1963 in Mexico, the son of Carmelo and Panfila Sanchez Juarez. He was a machinery worker and worked for Smith Farms and later Cal-Maine in Harwood.

He is survived by his companion of 19 years Dora Rodriguez, sons Adan Juarez Jr. of El Campo and Robert Juarez of Gonzales, step-sons Andrew Mathis of Gonzales and Brian Mathis of Pleasanton, step-daughter Tammy Mathis of Gonzales and 13 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. – noon on Wednesday, May 17 at Seydler-Hill Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Gonzales Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements under the care and direction of Seydler-Hill Funeral Home.
