Apache boys soccer team named to all-district

GONZALES — District 30-4A released their boys soccer all-district team with multiple Gonzales Apaches making the list this season.
On the first-team all-district were Anthony Veliz, Martin Romero and Ancel Atkinson. Making it to the second-team all-district were Jorge Cervantes, Daniel Cruz, Suriel Rangel, Luis Leija and Antonio Hernandez. Richard Grim, Erbin Orduna and Jaylen Johnson were all honorably mentioned.
The Apaches finished the district in third place at 7-2-3 with 24 points. They were bested by Austin Eastside (11-0-1) with 34 points and Giddings (8-3-1) with 25 points. Gonzales lost their bidistrict playoff game against Boerne.
