Apaches compete at 7on7 state tournament

The Gonzales Apaches competed at the Texas 7on7 state tournament for the first time in over a decade, taking on the Division II bracket. During pool play, Gonzales went 1-2, beating Hillsboro 25-19 then losing to Marion 48-21 and losing to Paris 34-14 to finish third in the Pool K standings. Gonzales then lost in the first round of the consolation bracket to Palestine 26-6 to end their tournament bid.
