Arlene Taylor Jones

Arlene Taylor Jones was born to the late Rayfield Taylor Sr. and Mirlleen Taylor on Nov. 8, 1958.

She attended and graduated from Gonzales High School, Gonzales, Texas. Arlene worked for the Aldine ISD at Sammons Elementary in Houston, Texas as a paraprofessional teacher; grades kindergarten through third grade for over 20 years where she loved her students.

Arlene accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age at the St. James Missionary Baptist Church under the late Reverend Earnest Barnes. She later united with the Fallbrook Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Michael A. Pender Sr. (Senior Pastor).

Arlene was a faithful servant of the Lord. She worked as an usher, attended weekly bible studies, helped with Christmas in July, and many other concerts and programs.

In July 1984, she was united in holy matrimony to Stanley Jones (now divorced). Together they welcomed five children, all deceased.

She was preceded in death by her children; Jason, Rena, A, B, C, her father, Rayfield Taylor Sr., and three brothers; Verdell Bouldin, Floyd Taylor and Walter Taylor.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother; Mirlleen Taylor, two brothers; Virgil Bouldin (Wife Silk), and Rayfield Taylor Jr., five sisters; Linda Roberson (Husband Robert), Diana Ashby (Husband David), Cynthia Stevens, Gilda Hunt, and Dorothy Wells (Husband Eric), four sisters-in-law; Shirley Taylor, Alice Taylor, Doreen Jones, and Mayulee Bouldin, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Special thanks to nieces Latoya Dennis and Crystal Taylor. Thank you, Latoya Dennis, for everything you did and bringing her home; though we thought earthly, it was heavenly.
