If you thought the music and entertainment at last year’s Come and Taste It Craft Beer and Wine Festival was good, you will find this year’s lineup to be smoking hot.

The Craft Beer and Wine Festival will be held on April 26 and 27 on Confederate Square, and the Gonzales Inquirer has released the names of the four acts that will perform on the David Stewart Trucking Main Stage during the weekend.

Kicking off the festival on Friday night will be former Gonzales resident Gabe Gallardo. Gallardo will perform from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Texas Benefit Solutions VIP night. Gallardo now lives in Austin, but he will bring his acoustic sounds to the tent where VIP revelers will be able to listen to his music, enjoy wine and beer, and have a taste of Gonzales.

On Saturday, the Something More Media beer tent opens at 1 p.m. Music will start at 2 p.m., with Austin recording artist Bethany Becker performing with her band. At 4:30 p.m., the Oliver White Group out of Houston, Texas will take to the main stage and will play until 6:30 p.m.

Then at 8 p.m., the Hot Attacks out of Victoria, Texas will rock the main stage until 10 p.m.

During the day, ticket holders will have the opportunity to sample over 75 craft beers and 12 different varietals from three different wineries.

Tickets for the VIP night are limited to 150 and are now on sale at the Gonzales Inquirer office located at 622 St. Paul Street. VIP tickets are $50 and entitle the ticket holder to all of Friday night’s Come and Taste It food, wine and beer samplings along with the music of Gabe Gallardo. It also entitles the ticket holder entry into Saturday’s Craft Beer and Wine festival, with a complimentary mug, pour glass and eight sampling tickets.

Tickets for Saturday only are $25 and entitle the ticket holder to entry into the gated area. They will receive a complimentary mug, pour glass and sampling mugs.

New to the event this year will be corn hole events in the courtyard and a dominoes table will be set up as well.
