Billy Paul Lott

Billy Paul Lott, 60, of Leesville, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2020.

Billy Paul was born in San Antonio, Texas, on Oct. 9, 1959, the son of W.A. “Bill” and Lillie Marie (Knandel) Lott.

Billy Paul graduated from Nixon High School in 1978 then attended T.S.T.I. where he became a certified welder. He was a talented welder who loved his profession. He also loved watching football and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by two sisters: Lori Lindemann and husband, Tom of Cost, Texas, and Sheri Wilkerson and husband, Darryl of La Grange, Texas; three nieces: Karlea Shippey and husband, Justin of Bulverde, Texas; Leigh Coke and husband, Gary of Gonzales, Texas; Beth Whitehead and husband, Cody of Cost, Texas; two nephews: Tel Lindemann and wife, Jinna of Cost, Texas, and Jake Wilkerson of Denton, Texas; along with three great-nephews and six great-nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents: Charles and Lillie Knandel; Gus and Elizabeth Lott; along with numerous aunts and uncles.

A private graveside family service will be held at a later date.
