Bruce Allen Fox, 75, of Mathis, Texas passed away March 7. Bruce was born March 27, 1943 in Burton, Texas to the late Leander C. Fuchs and Olivia Gau Fuchs. After graduating from Rockdale High School in 1961, Bruce moved to Dallas and began a career in men's retail clothing and worked in retail until 1981, when he began working in the oilfield business. Bruce opened Foxco Supply in 1989. Bruce was very passionate about his business and customers. He faithfully took breakfast tacos to his customers every Friday. He was kind and giving to his employees. Bruce was an avid bass fisherman. Bruce provided guide services on Choke Canyon Lake and Sugar Lake in Mexico. Bruce participated in countless fishing tournaments, winning many over the years. Bruce was a generous and fair man and very kind hearted.

Bruce is survived by his two daughters, Terri McMahan (Sam) of Victoria, Gina Bozka (Bubba) of Shiner, TX, two grandchildren he was so proud of, Landon Bozka (Bailey) and Carly Bozka (fiance, Nick Nevlud), sister Rose Urbanovsky (Ken) of Horseshoe Bay and former wife, Anita Fox of Victoria and a great-granddaughter who is due in July.

Bruce is preceded in death by his parents, Leander and Olivia Fuchs.

A memorial service will be Saturday, April 27 at 10 a.m. at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with Pastor Dan Fultz officiating.
