Cardinals dropped in Boerne

BOERNE — Shiner St. Paul fell to Boerne Geneva on Saturday, 39-21. The Eagles scored 20 unanswered points before Austin Barton got a 37-yard touchdown run for St. Paul’s first score. The Cardinals lost four fumbles and threw an interception in the 18-point loss.

Tre’Zell Jenkins-Perry ran 10 times for 63 yards and two touchdowns. Barton ran 13 times for 97 yards and a score. He also went 9-for-22 for 145 yards and an interception. Ryan Bell caught two balls for 59 yards while Joseph Natal caught three for 31 yards.

The Cardinals travel to San Antonio to take on St. Gerard this Friday.
