Edith Carroll Passmore Buesing

Edith Carroll Passmore Buesing, 74, of Seguin, passed away Feb. 10, 2019.  Visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 15 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5 - 7 p.m.  Graveside services and interment will be held on Saturday, Feb. 16 at 10 a.m. at the Bundick Cemetery in Smiley with Rev. Gary Irwin officiating. 

Carroll was born Sept. 15, 1944 in Nixon to Jesse R. and Viola (Thurk) Passmore. Carroll grew up in Smiley and graduated from Smiley High School Class of 1962. 

She will be remembered as long time employee at Mesquite Junction/ Smithey’s Country Store on S. Hwy. 123 south of Seguin, where she made many friends. Carroll enjoyed casino trips, and anything Elvis was her favorite, including a trip to Graceland. 

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Donald W. Janssen. Survivors include her husband, James Buesing; sons, Darryl Smithey and wife Stacey and Matthew Smithey and wife Edie; grandchildren, Hailey, Casey, Tyler and Kelli Smithey; several cousins, other loving family members and many friends.
