Early voting has come and gone, and now candiates and supporters alike anxiously wait for results of the two primaries. For those that haven't aready voted, March 3, also know as Super Tuesday, is the final opportunity to do so.

Polls will be open until 7 p.m. and election day voters are bound to vote in their designated precincts. The county has worked to streamline the polling locations for this election, but there is one change: Waelder’s location changes from Waelder City Hall to the Waelder Community Center. The buildings are next door to each other. For a full list of polling locations, see the table.

Voters must be registered to vote in the county and bring an accepted form of identification. Accepted IDs include U.S. Citizens Certificate with a photo, U.S. military ID with photo, Texas elections ID certification, Texas handgun license, U.S. passport book or card, Texas driver’s license and Texas personal ID.

A total of 2,530 of Gonzales County’s 12,283 registered voters have voted early. That figure includes in person and mail-in ballots for both primary elections. 322 of those voted in the Democratic Primary, while 2,208 have voted in the Republican Primary.
