Elizabeth “Betty” Machicek Mills

Elizabeth “Betty” Machicek Mills was called home to be with her Lord on Friday, July 29, 2016.

Betty touched so many lives with her intense love of others and generous and caring heart. All that met her became a part of her huge family.

She is preceded in death by her son, Stephen Mills; parents, Frank and Willie Mae Machicek; sister, Diane Fesperman; and husband, Douglas Mills. She leaves behind a son, Billy Mills; daughters, Patricia Mills Kuhns and her husband Darrel and Lisa Cruz and her husband, Mike; grandchildren, Austin, Alex and Dalton Cruz and wife, Alicia, and Jackson Mills Kuhns; four sisters; eight brothers; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is planned for Sept. 11 at 1 p.m. at the Gonzales VFW.
