Former mayoral candidate announces council bid

Posted

I, Rob Brown, am proud to announce my bid for Gonzales City Council - District 4. As a longtime Gonzales advocate, I strive to serve my district and our great city with integrity and true transparency.

I am humbled by the residents who have offered their support and encouragement! Like many, I feel changes are needed to effectively govern our city. I pledge to listen to my constituents and to vote my conscience, rather than voting as instructed by other elected officials.

Born and raised in Gonzales, I am no stranger to this town! After graduating from Gonzales High School I went on to further my education at the University of Texas and Victoria College. Together my wife, Lisa, and I have five children.

I am a hands-on Texan that has dedicated many hours to glorifying our beautiful community. I have past affiliations with the Gonzales Main Street Board, Gonzales Pioneer Village, Gonzales Historical Society, Gonzales County ESD # 1 Commissioner, Gonzales Community Health Center Board, Gonzales Tourism, Gonzales County Condemnation Special Commissioner, Public Broadcasting System, Hat Rod Productions, Presiding Election Judge, and The International Right of Way Association.

As your councilman I promise to be an advocate for change! I feel my conservative values will be an asset to this community. I am truly grateful for the support and trust that has been instilled in me!

Your voice starts with your vote! With your support we can take back our town!

Thank you!

Rob Brown

Gonzales, Texas
