Frances Ann Gandre

Frances Ann Gandre, 98, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016.

She was born Sept. 2, 1917 in Shiner to the late Joseph and Frances Trcalek Schovajsa.

Survivors are her twins, daughter, Shirley Mikesh (Glenn) and son, Kenneth Miller (Liz) all of Yoakum; grandchildren, Dawn Miller McCurry (Jamey), Denise Miller Green (Lance) and Todd Mikesh (Kendra); and great-grandchildren, Brooke, Zach, Kyle, Taylor, Haleigh and Brianna.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Kenneth J. Miller; second husband of 35 years, James Gandre; sister, Emily Farek; brothers, Edwin, John, Jerry and Joe Schovojsa.

Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 17 at Thiele Cooper Funeral Home.

Funeral service is 10 a.m., Saturday, June 18 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Warren Hornung officiating. Entombment to follow at Yoakum Restland Cemetery.
