Gonzales County reports three new cases, climbing to 702

As case numbers continue to slowly decrease in Texas, the number of daily reported cases in Gonzales county are also slowly decreasing, with only three new cases reported Monday.

This brings the total number of active cases in the county according to the Department of State Health Services summary report for Monday, August 10, 2020. It also raises the number of active cases to 45 from 44, and the number of recovered cases of COVID-19 is estimated to sit at 649.

In Trauma Service Area P, which Gonzales County resides in, currently hosts 847 hospitalizations from COVID-19, with 520 of these being in General beds, and 312 of them in Intensive Care Unit beds.
