Heath Henke is a 2020 graduate of Gonzales High School.

Honors Gonzales High School, Class of 2020 Valedictorian! Congratulations on all your accomplishments including UIL Number Sense and Computer Science Regional Qualifier, District MVP Offensive Football Player, and future Engineer at Texas A&M University. You bring joy to all. Your funny sense of humor brings smiles to your friends and family. Your community service shows love to others through your guitar playing at church, a counselor at camps, and special events in town.

Activities Heath has been very involved at Gonzales High and the community. He was President of the Student Council, National Honor Society, and Future Scientist. He was an officer and member of several school clubs such as Anchors, Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society, UIL events, and sports. Heath received many awards at GHS. He was highlighted as GHS Who's Who student and received Merit Awards in math, science, English, and computer science classes. Heath also named Outstanding Apache Way Character Award.

Sports Heath has been involved in basketball, baseball, tennis, and football. He was Academic All-District for a Varsity sport in 10th & 11th grade; along with Academic All-State Varsity Football his senior year. He received Honorable Mention Varsity Football in 10th grade and 2nd Team All-District Safety in 11th grade. Heath was awarded District 15-4A Division I MVP Offensive Player, Leading Rusher, and Leading Scoring-Points his senior year. In 2018 and 2019 his team was Football Area Qualifier.
