Johnson named coach of the year

Gonzales Apache coach Kevin Johnson received the Texas Girls Coaches Association 1A-4A Sub-Varsity Cross-Country Coach of the Year award for his work with the Lady Apaches this past season.
“This is a huge honor for Coach Johnson and the Gonzales girls cross-country team,” Head Coach Cully Doyle said of the award. “Congrats to Coach Johnson and his hard work and dedication to this program.”
Johnson is the assistant coach for both the cross-country team program as well as the track and field program.
