Junior high plays Wimberley tough

The Gonzales 7th grade B team lost to Wimberley 36-13. Leading scorer was Ethan Crouch with six points. Luke Avant scored three while Chrissean White and Braxton Crane had two points each.

The A team lost 53-14, with Mason Navejar leading the scoring with six points. Carlos Verastegui, Steven Maldonado, Ryan Cantu and Colbie Pullin all scored two points each.

The 8th grade B Team had a tough game against Wimberley. Their leading scorer and player of the game was DJ Longoria with six points.

The A team had a hard-fought game, getting taken down by the Texans by a score of 38-25. Leading the way for the Apaches were Xavier Aguayo with seven points, Breck Eleby and Jeremiah Hastings with four points each, Fabian Ramirez with three points, Brett Breitschopf, Jalen Miller and Jacob Bakken with two points and Josiah Contreras with one point.
