Gonzales 7B ties the Eagles
The Gonzales 7B team tied with Pleasanton 6-6 last week. David Gonzalez was the lone score for the Apaches with his 42-yard touchdown run. Kaden DeLeon was named defensive player of the game.

Gonzales 7A team beats Pleasanton 16-14
The Gonzales 7A football team took down Pleasanton 16-14 last week. Tyler Riojas scored a 10-yard touchdown run, adding a two two-point conversions to the stat sheet. Kamren Leal scored on a five-yard touchdown run, propelling him to winning offensive player of the game.
Demetrius Segura completed a deep pass to Weston Ruddock to set up the Apaches’ second touchdown.
Max Castillo was defensive player of the game.
Gonzales 7A is now 3-1 this season.

Gonzales 8B shuts out Pleasanton
The Gonzales 8B football team shut out the Pleasanton Eagles 20-0 last week. Bryce Brown ran for a 32-yard touchdown while Davion Cardenas scored from 24 yards out. Both Tyrann Gonzales and Santiago Suarez scored on two-point conversions. Meanwhile, Philip Gonzales had “two nice catches,” according to coaches, from Tyrann Gonzales.
Bryce Brown was named offensive player of the game.
Davion Cardenas returned an interception 99 yards down the field for a touchdown. He and Aidan Hernandez were named defensive players of the game.
Gonzales 8B is now 2-1 this season.

Gonzales 8A defeats Pleasanton
Last week, the Gonzales 8A football team took down Pleasanton 28-12 with Carlos Verastegui scoring on three highlight-reel runs, one from 54 yards out, one from 42 yards and another from 48 yards out. Jarren Johnson scored on a six-yard power run and on a two0point conversion. Derrick Garza also scored on a two-point conversion.
The big defensive hitter of the night award went to Steven Maldonado.
The Gonzales 8A team is now 4-0 this season.

Lady Apaches 7A sweeps Pleasanton
The Gonzales Lady Apaches 7A team swept Pleasanton in two sets (25-12, 25-21). The top scorers for the game were Macy Sample and Paisley Ploeger.
“The girls played another stellar game,” coaches wrote, “great job last night A-team.”
Gonzales 7A is now 8-2 this season.

Gonzales 7B beats Eagles in 3 sets
It took three sets to do so but the Gonzales 7B volleyball team took down Pleasanton (25-16, 24-26, 15-13) on Monday. Top scorers were Niyahna Lowery, Kynleigh Schroeder and Julihanna Manuel. Gonzales 7B is now 6-0 this season.
