Junior Lady Apache makes all-district list

Gonzales Lady Apache Hayley Sample was named to the first-team all-district list for District 30-4A volleyball this season. The junior was also named to the academic all-district team.
Honorably mentioned were Rachel Staggs, Peyton Ruddock and Madelyn Brown.
Name to the academic all-district team were Sample, Staggs, Ruddock and Brown as well as Sam Barnick, Madison Pirkle, Alleyna Trevino, Rebekah Baker, Shelby Davis, Mallory Vara, Abigail Hicks, Kristyn Baker, Abigayle Belin and McKenzie Hodges.
The Lady Apaches finished 4-8 in district play behind La Vernia, Navarro, Pleasanton and Cuero.
