Lady Apaches honored with all-district awards

With the University Interscholastic League (UIL) announcing the cancelation of spring sports, all district awards for sports such as soccer have been released. Multiple Lady Apaches were rewarded for their efforts, including three first-team players, one second-team player and four honorable mentions.

Named to the District 29-4A first-team all district were Stephanie Gonzales, Sandra Palacios and Veronica Moreno. Named to second team was Abigayle Belin. Samantha Gallegos, Reyna Martinez, Priscila Pizano and Anabela Rodriguez were honorably mentioned.

Named to the Academic All-District team were Abigayle Belin, Briana Duenez, Larissa Fernandez, Samantha Gallegos, Emma Hernandez, Marisol Leon, Veronica Moreno, Sandra Palacios, Paola Perez, Priscila Pizano, Anabela Rodriguez and Brittney Villegas.

Gonzales was 2-3 in district before their season was cut short.
