Lady Apaches take 7th in state meet

GONZALES — The Lady Apaches traveled to Round Rock for the UIL State meet, placing seventh as a team in the Class 4A Girls race.
Leading the way was senior Haley Garza who finished the race at 31 overall. She was timed at 12:48.33. Next was sophomore Veronica Moreno who was timed at 12:55.12. Stephanie Reyna finished at 12:56.72, Romy Cantu at 12:57.14, Shelby Davis at 13:15.45, Maura Garcia at 13:24.27 and Krystalynn Buesing at 13:34.61.
Gonzales qualified for the state meet after placing third in the UIL Region IV-4A meet.
