Lighting the night with hope at Relay For Life
On Friday, March 31, the 15th annual Relay For Life of Gonzales County will be held at the J. B. Wells Show Barn beginning at 6 p.m. In preparation for that event, team captains and participants are currently selling luminaria bags to honor survivors and those who have lost their cancer battle.
Each luminaria bag honors one individual for a donation of $5. This price is available now through March 27, the date of the annual Survivor Dinner.
The rest of RFL Week each luminaria bag will cost $10 each. The luminaria order form allows for more names to be listed on one page and is published elsewhere in this issue. Checks for donations should be made payable to American Cancer Society.
The earlier the luminaria orders are made the easier it is for the Event Leadership Team to prepare the luminaria bags and place them around the track for the event.
