Lowery was giving the good news

Posted

I have to admit that I agree with Mr. Filip. I do believe that a newspaper’s job is to inform the community of current and actual events, which is what Pastor Lowery was doing. He was simply giving the news (the Good News, the GOSPEL).

I personally don’t care for the sports page and as far as I am concerned the paper could leave it out, but I know full well that would upset a lot of people. I still believe the sports page belongs in the paper even if I don’t care for it.

Mr. Filip while you have your Bible out look up these scriptures: Leviticus 20:13, Romans 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Psalms 139:13-17, Luke 1:41 (NKJV). These scriptures will shed light on topics that are current and factual events; even though they were written centuries ago they are still occurring. All of these scriptures are the word of GOD so it boils down to this: It’s not what I think or believe or what you think or believe, it is what GOD wants us to do. You are invited and welcome to come worship with us at anytime. You will hear the Truth and you are in our prayers.
