Mary Ann Walraven Coolidge

Mary Ann Walraven Coolidge, was born on June 3, 1932 in Sterling, Colorado to John Wesley and Eva Walraven of Nebraska. She went on to meet her heavenly Father on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 in Midland, Texas.

Mary Ann was happily married to Donald D. Coolidge, the love of her life, for 65 years. They married in Sterling, Colorado on November 18, 1951.

She has called Midland her home since 1967.

Mary Ann was in sales most of her adult life, however, her passion was always her family.

She was a member of Alamo Heights Baptist Church and served on the Kitchen Committee, was a Sunday school teacher and sang in the choir.

She served as a pink lady at Midland Memorial Hospital.

Her joys in life included being an excellent seamstress and flower gardening.

Her greatest passion was her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her immediate family. Husband, Donald D. Coolidge; two daughters, Judy Ann Galbraith and her husband Joe Michael Galbraith of Midland, Texas and Cynthia Kay Rodriguez and her husband Andy Rodriguez of Gonzales, Texas; two granddaughters, Tiffany Jo Galbraith Floyd and her husband Brent Floyd and Jennifer Lee Ellis Bowling and her husband Jason Bowling; three grandsons, Joseph Donald Galbraith and his wife Michelle Galbraith , Jeremy Neil Ellis and spouse Chelsea, Wesley Sheldon Rodriguez and his wife Holly Rodriguez; twelve great grandchildren, Jakob Walker Floyd, Dylan James Floyd, Ava Grace Floyd, Ethan Eric Easley, Elissa Erin Easley, Emilee Eden Easley, Easton Eli Easley, Joseph Benton Galbraith, Creed Garrett Ellis, Andrew Sheldon Rodriguez, Kennidy Shy Wilson and Jas Jordon Bowling; one brother, David LaVern Walraven of Farmington, New Mexico; one sister, Virginia Spaeth of Sacramento, California.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John Wesley and Eva Walraven; three brothers, Gerald Walraven, Paul Walraven and John Walraven; two sisters, Mildred Albro and Bernice Wheeler; one son in law, Gary Lee Ellis.

The funeral service was held Friday, December 9, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., followed immediately by a burial at American Heritage Cemetery/Funeral Home/Crematory, 4100 N. FM-1788, Midland, Texas, 79707. The funeral service was officiated by Jerry Berry.
