Maurice (Bo) Scarbrough

Maurice (Bo) Scarbrough of Smiley passed away on October 25, 2016.  He is survived by his children Maurice III, Abigail, Mikel, and Eric; three grandchildren, Michelle, MP, and Brooklyn; his wife, Cindy; and siblings Mary and Gene. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Aaron.

Although services are being held privately, the thoughts and sympathies that have been expressed by those who knew him as a teacher, as a fellow musician, or as a neighbor have been much appreciated. In lieu of flowers and cards, a small donation might be made to a stem cell research organization (in honor of his son, Aaron), a cancer research foundation, or to the establishment of a Retirement Home for Old Musicians.
