Nixon hires interim city admin

NIXON – City Council on Wednesday voted to hire Harold Rice as its interim city administrator. The decision was announced after an executive session during that night's special-called meeting.

Officials said Rice will start work on Jan. 3. He will be taking over administrative duties for City Secretary Gina Trotter, who has been acting city administrator since early October.
