Nixon PD locate wanted person

NIXON – Nixon PD Officers Torres and Powell, along with Gonzales County Sheriffs Deputies Sgt. Gindler and Deputy Stewart, located a wanted person identified as Jesse Hyatt, 37, of Gillette on outstanding warrants in the Nixon area Sunday.

Officials said Hyatt was taken into custody a short time later without incident, and that charges are pending on Hyatt from a previous felony evading incident involving Pct. 4 Constable Deputy Constable Jerry Airola and Sgt. Monsivias with the Gonzales County Sheriff's office.

Hyatt is being held in Gonzales County Jail on a $150,000 cash bond. He is charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle and evading arrest detention with a vehicle.
