Pablo S. Rodriquez, 86, of Gonzales, Texas passed away on Friday, Oct. 13, at Gonzales Memorial Hospital in Gonzales, Texas

Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 17, at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gonzales, Texas with Father Paul Raaz officiating. A rosary will be recited on Monday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. at Buffington Funeral Home Chapel in Gonzales, Texas.

Pablo was born on July 13, 1931 in Gonzales Texas. He was the son of Guadalupe and Petra (Saceda) Rodriguez. Pablo enjoyed gardening, and every year he would make a garden, sometimes he would sell his fresh vegetables at the local flea market or they would enjoy the fresh vegetables at the nursing facility. In his spare time he loved fishing and was a self-taught mechanic. Pablo was outgoing, loved to talk with others and always made friends everywhere he went.

Pablo is survived by; his brother Cisco (Delfina) Rodriquez of Ohio; Brother Jessie (Elena) Rodriquez of Ohio and his children; daughter Rosa (Renan) Salizar of Illinois, Maria Candelaria (Kevin) Riggs of Illinois, Gloria (Diego) Soto-Pacheco of Ohio, Juan (Jennifer) Rodriquez of Ohio, Martin Rodriquez of Ohio and Barb (Tim) Beseda of Ohio; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents; one brother; and one sister.
