Patsy Ramirez Hernandez, 62, of Gonzales, Texas passed away on Friday, Sept. 15 at her residence.
Cremation rites are under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Gonzales, Texas. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. at Buffington Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Friday, Sept. 22 from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m.
Patsy was born on Oct. 18, 1954 in Gonzales, Texas. She was the daughter of Francisco and Juanita (Deleon) Ramirez. Patsy married Leovardo in 1975. She enjoyed taking care of her flower garden and listening to music. She loved spoiling her children while they were growing up. She liked cooking and baking for her family and friends. She liked to go dancing and have fun socializing with others at the dance. She liked to read and play games on her phone, and playing with her grandchildren. Patsy was the “family clown” always joking around and spreading her contagious laugh. Patsy was a hardworking, kind-hearted lady who devoted to her family. She could be both kind hearted and brutality honest at the same time. Patsy worked for more than 20 years for Gonzales County in the Tax Assessors office and the County Auditor’s office before retiring. After a short retirement, Patsy went to work for Adams Extracts until her health started to decline.
Patsy is survived by two sons; Michael Hernandez of Texas, Tony Hernandez of Texas, one daughter; Isabel Hernandez of Gonzales, Texas, three brothers; Frank Ramirez Jr. and his wife, Cathy of Gonzales, Texas, Victor Ramirez, Joe Ramirez, Sr. of Gonzales, Texas. One sister; Josie Rodriguez of Caldwell, Texas, three grandchildren; Kierstin Maldonado, Jesus Maldonado, Talan Grant, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Francisco and Juanita Ramirez, one daughter; Michelle Hernandez, one brother; Tony Ramirez, and one brother-in-law; Reynaldo Rodriguez.
