Perdetha Schultz Gloor

Perdetha Schultz Gloor, 88, went to be with her Lord and Savior March 3, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 4, 1929 in Gonzales County to George and Minnie Schultz. On July 1, 1950, Perdetha married Leroy Otto Gloor in the First Methodist Church in Gonzales.

When you think of Perdetha, Proverbs 31:10-31 describes the Virtuous women. She was a Godly woman who stood beside her husband and family. She was actively present in daily life, whether caring for family members in time of need, assisting Leroy with the cattle, helping her children through school, and teaching her grandchildren the Lord’s Prayer before bed. She was a gifted pianist that blessed many church members. Many fond memories were made throughout her 88 years. She also displayed attributes described in the Bible such as when Jesus turned water into wine; she could take something simple and make it grand. Her daily prayer always ended “and most of all, take us to heaven when we die.” She is now in His presents rejoicing with the Lord and those who have gone before her.

Perdetha Schultz Gloor is preceded in death by her loving husband, Leroy Otto Gloor Sr., parents George and Minnie Schultz, brother, George Schultz Jr., and son, Leroy Otto Gloor Jr. She is survived by her loving daughter Teresa Vandegriff of Seguin; granddaughter Elizabeth Robbins and husband Arlie; granddaughter, Tabitha Titsworth and husband Tim; grandson, BJ Vandegriff and Stephany; granddaughter Samantha Platz and husband Derrick; eight great-grandchildren, Cody, Dylan, & Emily Robbins; Hannah & Allie Titsworth; Laiden & Weston Vandegriff; Tucker Platz and numerous nieces and nephews.
