Police searching for head-biting, knife-wielding man

GONZALES — Police are investigating an incident in which a man went to another man’s job site, bit him on the head and pulled a knife on him.

On June 23, Officer Tyler Wendland was dispatched to the 2600 block of Winding Way Dr. in reference to a man threatening another man with a knife, Capt. Allen Taylor said. Upon arrival Wendland met with the witness who reported the incident, who said the knife-wielding suspect had already left the scene. The witness gave police a description of the suspect, as well as a partial license plate number, Taylor said.

According to the report, the suspect arrived at the victim’s job site and bit him on the head before pulling a knife on him.

The victim later went to the Gonzales Police Department and told police the suspect had gone to his job site, bitten him on the head and pulled a knife on him. However, he claimed he had no idea who the man was.

The victim described the suspect as a black male wearing a black shirt with black shorts, stocky build, around five feet ten inches tall, 30-40 years of age.
