Postseason honors awarded to St. Paul

The Shiner St. Paul Lady Cardinals volleyball team earned postseason honors, after a season where the team finished 27-7-1. St. Paul finished as area champs, with multiple players named to the all-district and all-state teams.

Named first-team all-state was Delynn Pesek. Grace Irvin was named to the second team while Christine Wagner, Gracey Novosad and Parker Clay were honorably named.

Pesek was named district MVP as well as to the first-team all-district squad. Also named to that team were Irvin, Novosad, Wagner, Clay, Scarlett Crawford and Riley Johnson. Named to the second team were Ashley Wachsmuth, Kayla Kubenka, Kayla Malatek and Mallory Pokluda. Honorably mentioned were Sydney Grabarkievtz and Emma Hull.
