Primitivo Solis

Primitivo Solis, 58, of Gonzales, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015 at his residence.

Funeral mass is under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Gonzales and was held on Sunday, Nov. 22 at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gonzales with Father Paul Raaz officiating. Interment followed at Saint James Catholic Cemetery in Gonzales. A Rosary was recited on Saturday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. at Buffington Funeral Home with Deacon Alfonso officiating.

Primitivo was born on June 10, 1957 in GTO, Mexico. He was the son of Filberto and Juana (Padron) Solis. He married Amparo Rodriguez on March 7, 1987 in GTO, Mexico.

Primitivo didn’t have any hobbies, simply because he enjoyed work as his hobby. He also liked to travel to visit family. Primitivo was employed as a heavy equipment operator in construction.

Primitivo is survived by his wife, Amparo Solis; sons, Gilberto Solis of Gonzales, Samuel Solis of Gonzales, Abraham Solis and his fiancé Saundra Castaneda of Gonzales and Nestor Solis of Gonzales; daughters, Angelica Solis of Gonzales and Daene Solis of Gonzales; four brothers, three sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Filberto and Juana Solis and one son, Cruz Solis.
