Quintin Miles Strauss

Quintin Miles Strauss passed away on April 27.

In January, he was diagnoses with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

He was born to Ronald and Shirley Strauss on Jan. 28, 1959 in Cherry Point, North Carolina.

Quintin was proceeded in death by his parents Ronald and Shirley Strauss of Gonzales and a great niece Yvonne Dudley of Gonzales.

Quintin leaves behind three sisters and brother-in-law and one brother, Eugenia and Jim Hanna of Huntsville, Carlotta Walker of Gonzales and Charlese Strauss of Gonzales, Ronald Strauss Jr. of Denton, three aunts, one uncle, Joan Stonebraker of South Carolina, Beulah Slesser of California and Judy and Edward Wesloskie of Indiana, 13 nephews, one niece, 14 great-nephews and six great-nieces.

Quintin loved riding his bicycle all over town, stopping at his favorite place to eat, Dairy Queen and visiting everyone there. He loved his work at Westwood Inn in Gonzales.

Quintin enjoyed music, his stray cat he took care of, but most of all his parrot “Pretty Girl.”

Quintin had a generous heart, never met a stranger and thought everyone should be his friend.

He is missed so much by his family and friends.
