Robert Burgess Hyman

July 24, 1953 - October 8, 2018

Rob "The Hurricane" Hyman left us suddenly while with his loving wife Liz and a smile on his face. His larger than life presence has left a huge hole in the hearts and lives of everyone who knew him. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be sorely missed by all.

Rob did not want a funeral, not his style, so a celebration for the life of a truly unique human being is planned for the future. Rob worked for years as a construction superintendent before retiring to spend time with his beloved grandchildren Hudson and Mason. He was also a very talented musician who played in bands including "Up Periscope", "The Hailstoners" and most recently as a member of "The Cat Wranglers."

He is survived in death by his wife of over 26 years, Elizabeth Ince, children Chris Hyman, Jessica Boxley, son-in-law David Boxley and honorary daughter Jennifer Flora, grandchildren Hudson and Mason Boxley, brother Bill Hyman, sister-in-law Bonnie Hyman, niece Erin Marshall; sister Anne and an endless list of friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Vance Hyman, mother Elizabeth Hyman and an endless list of friends. We feel he is in good company.
