Rory T. James

On May 22, 1970, Janie Mae James and Roy James were blessed with a baby boy whom they named Rory Thomas James.

Rory was baptized at a young age at Memorial Baptist Church and later became a member at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church.

Rory attended Gonzales High School.

In July 1994, Rory meet his partner and was united with his lovely wife Casandra Clack. He had one stepson, Joshua Clack.

Rory worked as a construction worker, something he really enjoyed doing.

Rory loved his family and enjoyed fishing and barbeque. Rory favorite saying was, “Stop that jumping.” His favorite song was "Crossroads" by Bone Thug-N-Harmony.

Rory was preceded in death by his father Roy Thomas James; grandmothers-Mary Roxie Russell and Lillie Mae James; grandfathers Tommie Russell and Thomas James; sister Tina James; aunts Frankie Mae William and Faye Henderson; and uncles Jesse Russell and Tommie Russell Jr.

Rory leaves to cherish his memories his wife Casandra Clack; his loving mother Janie Mae James, who passed away 15 hours after him; sisters Stacy James, Tracy James, Melissa James, Erica James and Linda Jefferson; brother Shane James; children Erica Ornales, Jessica Ornales, Dominique Ornales, Rory James Jr., and Joshua Clack; 11 grandchildren; God daughter Isabella Marie McIntosh; special friends Ray Mayberry, Augustine Camarillo, Steve Pettie, and Frank Venegas; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
