Shiner Public Library to close for renovations

The Hoffie and Lank Wolters Shiner Public Library will temporarily close on Monday, Feb. 10 to install all new carpeting. There is no formal timeline for the project, but the library hopes to reopen to the public the following Thursday, Feb. 20.
Rentals will be permitted until Feb. 10 and can be returned in the outside book drops located on the back of the building at any time. The soon-to-be replaced carpet is the original carpet from the building’s opening over 20 years ago.
