Lady Cardinals knock off rivals
Shiner St. Paul traveled to Hallettsville to take on the Sacred Heart Indianettes. The Lady Cardinals would win in four sets, (23-25, 25-8, 25-22, 25-15). Stats include: Paige Brown three kills, one solo block, one block assist; Aspen Flach four digs; Trinity Garza one ace; Grace Irvin eight kills, two solo blocks, three block assists, five digs, five aces; Riley Johnson eight digs, two assists; Hope Kapavik four digs; Gracey Novosad 10 kills, one solo block, one block assist, 11 digs, two assists; Delynn Pesek nine kills, one solo block, seven digs; Cameron Pesek one kill, two block assists, two digs; Christine Wagner two kills, one solo block, one block assist, six digs, 27 kills.
The JV lost (25-22, 25-11) while the freshmen lost (22-25, 25-11, 25-12)

Lady Mustangs win in straight sets
The Nixon-Smiley Lady Mustangs took down Charlotte on Tuesday in a non-district bout in three sets, (25-12, 25-20, 25-18). Nixon-Smiley hosts Bloomington tomorrow, with a scheduled start of 5 p.m. They then travel to Pettus on Tuesday for a scheduled 6 p.m. game.
