Cardinals splits games this week
Shiner St. Paul traveled to Victoria on Wednesday, losing 8-6 to St. Joseph in the non-district baseball game. The Cardinals knocked off Runge on Monday with a 12-0 victory. St. Paul is scheduled to play SA St. Gerard on Tuesday.

Lady Apaches in search of district win
The Gonzales Lady Apaches lost 18-1 to Navarro last Friday before losing 7-4 against Poteet on Tuesday to drop to 0-4 in District 30-4A softball. The Lady Apaches host Pleasanton (3-1) on Thursday before traveling to take on SA Brooks Academy (0-5) on Tuesday.

Mustangs lose non-district bout
The Nixon-Smiley Mustangs traveled to San Antonio on Monday, losing 10-0 to the Antonian Prep Apaches. They travel to face Incarnate Word Academy for a game on Thursday before traveling to place San Antonio St. Gerard on Tuesday.

The Luling Eagles lost 2-1 to Smithville in a non-district baseball game. Luling travel to Canyon Lake on Thursday with first pitch scheduled at 1 p.m. They host Caldwell on Tuesday with first pitch at 7 p.m.
