TAPPS releases realignment for 2018-2020

Shiner St. Paul in 4-school football district

The Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) executive board released realignment information for the next two years in an update given online on Wednesday.

In football, Shiner St. Paul, a member of TAPPS, learned they will now be competing in a four-school district, alongside longtime rival Hallettsville Sacred Heart, San Antonio St. Gerard and Temple Central Texas Christian in TAPPS District 3 - Division IV.

In the general alignment, St. Paul has been placed in TAPPS District 5-2A with Bulverde Bracken Christian, SA St. Gerard and Victoria Faith Academy. Cross-country and volleyball will follow the general alignment.

In softball, the Lady Cardinals have been placed in District 6 – Division IV with Bellville Faith Academy, Hallettsville Sacred Heart and Victoria Faith Academy.

In baseball, the Cardinals are in District 5 – Division V with Bulverde Living Rock, SA St. Gerard, San Marcos Hill Country Christian and Victoria Faith Academy.

As of press time, realignments for golf, tennis and track and field have not been released.
