The deadline to register to vote for November’s Texas constitutional election is fast approaching. All applications must either be received by the voter registrar’s office by Monday, Oct. 7, 2019 or post marked that same day to be eligible.

Voter applications can be found in various locations including libraries, post offices and most city and county offices. In Texas, voters cannot register to vote online. Applications can be found online but they must be printed and mailed or turned in to the voter registrar’s office. Gonzales County applications can be mailed to Crystal Cedillo, Registrar of Voters, P.O. Box 677, 427 St. George, Suite 100, Gonzales, TX 78629. Your registration status can be checked online via the Texas Secretary of State’s website.
