Waelder announces all-district teams

WAELDER — The Waelder Wildcats boys and girls basketball teams have both announced the players who have made their respective all-district teams this season in District 30-1A.

On the girls side, Malorie Puente was named to the first team, all-district. Brejhai Montgomery was named to the second team. Honesty Fields and Jakhia Thompson were both honorably mentioned.

On the boys side, Colby Thorne, Isaiah Ewing and Carlos Reyes were both named to the first team. Josh Jones-Miller was named to the second team. Ewing and Thorne were named to the Region IV-1A all-region team while Ewing was also named to the Class 1A all-state team, both compiled by the Texas Association of Boys Coaches.
