Waelder to discuss community center lease agreement

WAELDER — Waelder City council will meet tonight at 7 p.m. at City Hall. During the meeting they will discuss the city’s community center lease agreement (specifically utilities, booking and cleaning). In addition, they will review the 2017 tax appraisal roll as well as appoint two representatives to the Golden Crescent Regional Planning Commission General Assembly and designate one of the two to sit on the board of directors for the term of Sept. 1, 2017 through Aug. 31, 2018.
After discussion on possible changes to the city’s water rates the council will go into executive session where they will review applications for the city manager position and discuss scheduling interviews.
