8th grade Lady Apaches fall to Cuero

On Thursday, Sept. 2, the Gonzales Lady Apache 8th Grade A Team played Cuero at home. The Lady Apaches played two sets but were defeated., 23-25, 15-25. Top players were Joelee Lester with 15 points serving points and Ava Carrizales who had a great game on the back row. The A team’s record is now 1-1.

Also that night, the Gonzales Lady Apache 8th Grade B Team played Cuero at home, but lost in two sets, 18-25, 16-25. Top players were Paige Kuntschik with a great serving game and Nora Koch and McKenzie Gillette with a terrific game at the net.
