Rosa (Sanchez) Bolton, 87, of Luling, Texas passed away on Monday, Feb. 1, 2021 at Seton Hays Medical Center in Kyle, Texas. Graveside Services are under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Gonzales, Texas and will be held on Friday, Feb. 12 at 10 a.m. at Community Cemetery in Luling, Texas. Rosa was born on Dec. 13, 1933 in Luling, Texas. She was the daughter of Agipito and Vincenta (Castinedo) Sanchez. more
A criminal complaint filed in the Texas Western District Court alleges that 19-year-old Caleb Nathaniel Oliver of Smiley, Texas, purchased an automatic weapon from an undercover FBI officer in Wilson County. Criminal complaints are not considered evidence of guilt. They are charges levvied in a court of law, where defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. more

Domingo “Jesse” Vega was born Aug 28,1944, in Gonzales, Texas. He was the first of 12 children born to Jose Vega and Maria Pecina Vega. Domingo went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Feb 4, 2021. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. followed with a Rosary being recited at 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 8, 2021 at Seydler-Hill Funeral Home, with a mass of Christian burial to follow at 10 a.m. Tuesday Feb. 9, 2021 at the St. James Catholic Church, with Fr.
