Agnes Molnoskey Jasek

Agnes Molnoskey Jasek, 83 of Moulton, passed away March 10, 2020 at her home. She was born on Feb. 14, 1937 in Gonzales, Texas to John Frank and Theresa Pekar Molnoskey. Agnes was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved baking kolaches, cooking, gardening and canning. No one left her home hungry or either she made sure you took food home for later. She always had a pot of homemade noodle soup on the stove ready to eat. She spoiled her grandchildren and great grandchildren whenever she could. She loved God with her whole heart, mind and soul and she was a powerful prayer warrior for anyone that needed prayers. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters, and Altar Society. She also taught CCD at St. Joseph Catholic Church for many years.

She married Daniel Jasek on Oct. 17, 1955 at St. James Catholic Church in Gonzales. She is survived by daughters, Debbie Morris (Hugh) of Weimar, Joan Fisbeck (Gerald) of Hallettsville and sons, Sidney D. Jasek (Barbara) of Hallettsville, Matthew Jasek (Susan) of Seguin, Glen Jasek (Alexis) of Houston, grandchildren, Jessica Kolb (Brian), Natalie Castloo (Kenneth), Victoria Vogt (Adam), Katon Morris (Daniel Garcia), Koby Morris(Alice Chavez), Kami Jo Morris, Dale Jasek (Brittany), Kelly Desautels (Steve), Travis Jasek (Kristen Pipken), Jacob Jasek, Luke Jasek (Victoria), Sarah Jasek, David Fisbeck, Julianne Fisbeck, Nicklaus Jasek, and Noah Jasek. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Also surviving are sisters, Tracie Read of Seguin, Adeline Molnoskey of Gonzales and brother David Molnoskey(Janice) of Gonzales and sisters-in-laws, Lucille Molnoskey and Sandra Molnoskey.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Joe D. Molnoskey, Ludwig C. Molnoskey, and Edwin Molnoskey and sister, Helen Mercer. Also infant brother and sisters, Johnny, Madeline and Laurencia Molnoskey.

Pallbearers will be Dale Jasek, Travis Jasek, Jacob Jasek, Luke Jasek, Nicklaus Jasek, Noah Jasek, David Fisbeck, Koby Morris and Marlon Mercer.

Visitation will begin at 4 pm, Sunday, March 15 with rosary starting at 6 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Moulton, Texas. Funeral Mass will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Moulton, Texas on Monday, March 16 at 10 a.m. with Father Gabriel Maison officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Praha, Texas.
