Amy Lue Richardson Kidd was born in Gonzales, Texas, Aug. 1, 1968 to Bob and Dawlean Richardson. She grew up in Gonzales. Competed in 4-H Horse and Livestock shows, after graduating Gonzales High School. She married, had one son and had the opportunity to travel. After returning to Gonzales, she started a career at Warm Springs where she worked for several years. After leaving Warm Springs she joined the family business. She was the type of person if you ever met her you would never forget her. Because she had a warm smile, kind words and a beautiful soul. She loved life and lived it to its fullest. After being diagnosed with lung cancer in July of 2020, she fought the battle of her life, till the Lord called her home on Jan. 10, 2021 where she joined her father Bob Richardson and Brother-In-Law Tilmon Hillis Gray Jr.

She leaves behind her mother Dawlean Richardson, her son; Cody Amos Kidd, Kaylyn McMurry and granddaughter; Breeze Maxine from Yoakum, her three siblings; Cary Gene Richardson, Keith Allen Richardson and Sue Lynn Lester, all from Gonzales and many nieces and nephews. She was loved by many and will be missed.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021 at 11 a.m. in Pilgrim, Texas, at the Presbyterian Church with a lunch to follow at Pilgrim Community Center.
