Anna Marie Mercer-Forbes

Anna Marie Mercer-Forbes was born in Gonzales Texas, and passed away at the hospital in Sacramento, California on February 16, 2022.

She lived in Galt, CA for 18½ years. She enjoyed going to Church, the Outdoors, Camping, Sewing, Cooking, Playing games (cards & dominoes), picking up rocks and taking snapshots and making slide shows for the family. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Galt.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy E. and Bertha H. Mercer and her husband Robert “Bob” Forbes.

She is survived by her sister Betty Taylor, sister Willie Vickers, her children Linda Rowland (Leon), Teresa Haberern (Mark), Albert Thomas (Terri), TinaMarie Forbes, Brian Forbes, and Karen Forbes (Keith). 13 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Galt on March 19, 2022 at 2pm. She will be laid to rest in June of 2022 at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, CA with her beloved husband, Robert “Bob” Forbes.
