Anne Elizabeth Hyman Gehrlein, of San Antonio, formerly of Gonzales, passed away on May 3, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.  Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.

2 Timothy 4:7-8

Anne was born June 17, 1958, daughter of Elizabeth Dunning Hyman and Vance Andrew Hyman. She grew up in Gonzales with brothers, Bill Hyman and Rob Hyman. Anne has many long time Gonzales friends and will be remembered for her big sense of humor, a fondness for sweets and candy of all kinds, along with her true love of animals.

Anne spent many years in San Antonio. There she made lifelong friends and enjoyed a successful career in radio advertising with KTSA, WOAI, KISS along with WBAP, Fort Worth. KTSA is also where Anne met her one true love, Steve Gehrlein. Anne and Steve were married in San Antonio, Texas on Aug. 10, 2010. Sadly, Steve preceded her in death on May 9, 2011.

Anne is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brother, Robert Burgess Hyman. Left to honor her memory is her brother, Bill Hyman (Bonnie), niece, Erin Marshall (Thomas); great nieces, Emma & Autney Marshall; nephew, Chris Hyman; niece, Jessica Boxley (David); great nephews, Mason & Hudson Boxley and sister-in-law, Elizabeth (Liz) Ince Hyman.
